The Vibe

Over the past few years I’ve made a lot of self discoveries about life and have learned a lot about the world and the people that make it up. I believe everyday the world is giving you the lessons and teachings you need to learn. Everything is right in front of your face you just need to pay attention. I think a lot the time people are looking for answers. The answers you seek are always inside you. Its funny tho because I feel that a lot of the time the Universe like to drop you hints until you get it.

If you have ever known me you would know that I use the word vibes a lot. I say this because I believe the entire world is made up of them. Everything carries a frequency. Sound waves are measured in Hertz, human hearing covers about 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz. These frequencies cover the bandwidth of which sound waves fall under. Similarily light frequencies which covers another portion of the electromagnetic spectrum are processed through our eyes. You might want to think of them in a higher frequency. The point i’m trying to get at here is that everything is made of a vibration when you get down to the basic electrical level.

If we can bring it down to an electrical level then we have a positive and negative charge. Ying and Yang. Women and Man. Yes and No. Light and Dark. God and Lucifer. This is the duality of life. It makes up and is a part of everything. Both sides are necessary. You cant have good without evil and you cant have light without dark. There is transmissive force and a receptive force. As human beings we are always broadcasting and receiving millions of pieces of information everyday, weather you recognize it or not.

I ask you this: WHAT ARE YOU BROADCASTING?

What energy are you sending out into the world. Whats your vibe?

I learned about the vibrations of the world from being around artists. “Thats the Vibes”, “You know the Vibe”, “Yo! I just caught a vibe” ” We had a Good Vibe” all became common vocabulary around me. At first it jus hit me as industry slang, as time went on it began to mean much more. They were all talking about the energy. Weather it be the energy in the room, the energy in the song. The vibe carries power just like any other frequency. You can feel vibes too: you walk in a room full of joy and love you can feel it, that a good vibe. You walk into a room and get a bad vibe, you can feel it instantly as well. As artists, I feel the goal is to let the whole universe feel your vibe. Great vibes live forever: John Lennon, Bob Marley, Martin Luther King, ect. The thing that these great artists understand is that the world is made of energy and you have the power to channel great energy, its already within you. You might even call it God’s energy. I’ve had artists tell me they have no idea where a song idea came from. They swear that there were spirits/vibes in the room. They simply “caught” the vibe.
With advent of social media I can feel everyone desperately wants to express themselves, but its coming across as mindless status updates! We are all artists at heart!

Your Body is a Temple

Its important to take care of your body thats no brainer. In order to do this however you need to equip your body with important nutrients it needs. I assume you know the difference between healthy and unhealthy foods, try to eat healthy. However, Here are natural nutrients from the earth to help you combat the harsh radicals of the world:

Chlorella / Spirlina :

These are vitamins that are made of Green and Blue algaes. When taken as a part of a diet they are a serious detoxifying tool. They remove any harsh metals you might have taken in through out the day. For example pesticides, which are used to grow most produce we eat. It does this by affecting your body at cellular level. Your body has PH levels going from Basic to Acidic. The Algae regains the balance in your cells so that disease can not grow. Chlorella and Spirlina have been shown to elongate the lives of HIV patients and to actively repair DNA.

Water:

Drink water! Most of your body is made up of it! Most of the world is made up of it!

Fish Oil:

Another beneficial supplement shown to be extremely healthy for the Joints and Brain. This is good for you especially if you do not eat a lot of seafood. People are not eating seafood like they once were. Back in the day fish was one of the main sources of protein.

Acai Berry: Definitely one of my favorite fruits. This berry comes from the Amazon and is filed with a lot of antioxidants, protein, and energy. Aztec warriors used to eat the fruit before they went into battle for energy and focus.

Feel close to God

I am not a fan of pushing any type of ideas on anyone. People have to decide for themselves what to believe. Do what rings true to you. So when people say i need to find jesus to feel close to god, i disagree. To many people, going to church on sunday is what makes them feel close to god. For me i feel closet to god either on the beach, or during a great vibe session in the studio. Whatever makes you feel most alive, do it! Paint a picture, Write a song, Hang out with your best friend! To me this is connecting with god, you can just feel it. Its the things in life that ring most true in your soul. So when I say i’m going to church don’t be surprised to find me on a beach somewhere, or locked in a control room for 3 days lol. I have nothing against religion, in fact I think its a great thing. To make people feel close to god is a great thing, thats what church does for millions of people. I do not feel you need a church to feel close to god what so ever.

Synchronicity

A strange unexplainable events have been happening in my life over the past few years as well.

I see numbers….

They are always numbers lined up:

11:11, 1:11, 2:22, 3:33, 4:44 , 555, 777, 999…

Clocks, license plates, receipts, sports scores, cell phones

No matter what it never seams to fail. At first I was a little freaked out! I was being haunted by numbers! Then I started to notice I would happen at the most significant moments. I looked it up online, and found a couple new age ideas. Some of the ideas even included a section about angels. Still not exactly sure what it means however, I started to believe they were omens, signs that I was on the right path. Almost like the universe is tapping you on the shoulder. It happens to me more times than I can count and its gotten me to where I am today. A book that might help explain this is “The Alchemist”. Teaches you about the language of the universe and the soul of the world. This to me is God.
